My Dear Community,

When was the last time you took time to retreat from ‘the world’? Time to slow down and notice how you feel and what you’re thinking? To really allow your grief, or overwhelm, or glimpses of happiness?

Instead, how often do you dash from one thing to the other? And find people, places, and things crashing down on you?

It’s like touring six European countries in 10 days. Wolfing down food, cities, and museums. No time to sit and savor; to soak in the sights and sounds.

Time to slow down and connect

Yes, the planet’s moving at warp speed.

But what I know is…when I show up from a place of centeredness, I’m connected to the power within me – my Wellbeing.

So, you might ask, “How do I do this if I’m amid grief, longing, and anxiety?”

Nature Meditation

One process I use with clients in Synergy sessions is to connect through nature.

Listen to this audio meditation recording and follow along.

So, as you imagined going to your favorite place in nature what did you see? Hear? Feel? What emotion was released in your body?

Can you still feel that emotion as you open your eyes and notice your surroundings with curiosity?

Hit reply. Share your nature experience with me.

Love all around, above, below, to the left and to the right, before you and behind you,
Georgena

P.S.—Speaking of warp speed, Jan Egeland, director-general of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) said on NPR, “We have DAYS to save the Afghan people. They are without food and shelter. Winter is coming.” You can find out more here: Afghanistan Countdown to Collapse.
